Monday, July 30.....

The kids made bottle cap bracelets and duct tape wallets. Both were hard for them and so I had little time to take pictures. Whew..... glad that is over!

Holy tailfeathers, Batman!

It has only been 8 days that we have had the babies and they are already getting tail feathers!
Granted, they look like the puff ball on a dandelion... but, they are getting longer wing feathers and are all starting to look like the kind of chicken they will become.

After the disaster of "07..

Ron built a new dog and raccoon proof chicken pen and since the arrival of the new baby chicks, I have been out to the new digs several hundred times each day. Gotta medicate and change the water, change the poopie diapers (hay), look at 'em, sit with them, hold them and bond with them and mourn the loss of three. Ah, life is very, very sweet and cuddly and soft.

...... Just hanging out and keeping warm....
